Form follows function in the elegant carbon frame of the Nuroad Hybrid C:62. Of course, it looks great, with its sleek profile and organic curves. But we haven’t forgotten about practicality, with clearance for tyres up to 50 mm, even with mudguards fitted. There are also mounting points for a rear rack and on the all-carbon fork, ensuring maximum versatility. The Bosch drive system’s control unit is integrated into the top tube, with a mini-controller on the handlebars, and the frame is PowerMore-compatible for an additional +250 Wh power pack. The seatpost clamp is concealed; there’s a lightweight Direct Mount chain guide, a flat-mount kickstand interface, a Boost rear axle and a UDH derailleur hanger. We admit we’ve ticked all the boxes. Now it’s over to you…
The appeal of the Nuroad Hybrid C:62 SLX extends beyond its elegantly sculpted C:62® carbon frame and full-carbon fork. To start with, the lightweight Bosch SX motor unit and a 400 Wh battery deliver up to 60 Nm of torque; and we’ve pre-fitted X-Connect, making it easy to add an ACID-compatible front light. Front and rear rack mounting points let you carry everything you need. The Shimano GRX Di2 1×12-speed groupset offers a wide range of gear ratios and seamless electronic shifting via the ACID MTB Hybrid Pro crankset. The powerful Shimano GRX hydraulic disc brakes let you control your speed on the Newmen Advanced SL X wheels. The lightweight and robust R.36 wheels, fitted with carbon rims and 45 mm Continental Terra Adventure tyres, are specially designed for bikepacking and offer exceptional grip. Finally, even with mudguards fitted, there’s enough suspension travel to accommodate 50 mm tyres. That leaves just one question: where’s your next destination?
