Designing a truly practical frame involves more than just fitting mudguards and a luggage rack, although those are certainly among the things we’ve done. The elegantly sculpted C:62® frame of the Nuroad Hybrid C:62 FE features many subtle touches, such as its ability to accommodate 50 mm tyres, even with mudguards fitted. Its full-carbon fork features mudguard mounts; we’ve fitted it with a lightweight Direct Mount chain guide and a Flatmount kickstand interface, whilst the rear triangle is fitted with a Boost rear axle and a UDH derailleur hanger. As for its Bosch drive unit, it is compatible with the Powermore booster, allowing you to benefit from an additional 250 Wh battery, whilst the control unit is neatly integrated into the top tube, with a slight offset towards the handlebars. We’ve paid close attention to the details, so you can focus on your pedalling.
Bosch’s lightweight hybrid technology, a sleek C:62® carbon frame and the practicality of a luggage rack and mudguards come together in the Nuroad Hybrid C:62 Race FE. Its carbon fork is also compatible with a luggage rack, and it offers more than enough space for its 45 mm Schwalbe tyres (you can fit tyres up to 50 mm) even with mudguards fitted. The lightweight Bosch SX drive system is paired with a 400 Wh battery and capable of delivering 60 Nm of assistance, whilst the frame is PowerMore-compatible for an additional 250 Wh of range; furthermore, front and rear lights are pre-fitted. The sturdy yet lightweight Newmen Evolution SL X.R. 25 wheels are equipped with powerful Shimano GRX hydraulic disc brakes, whilst the drive unit is paired with a very wide-ranging Shimano GRX 1×12-speed drivetrain. Whatever bikepacking adventure you have in mind, this bike is ready for it.
