Life in the city can be hectic, which is why the Editor strips things back to the essentials… without compromising on style. Designed around a clean, quiet belt drive, the lightweight double-walled aluminium frame – inspired by our 29er hardtail mountain bikes – features meticulously crafted tube junctions for an organic, virtually seamless look. Fully internal cable routing completes the clean aesthetic, and the lightweight, slender full-carbon fork complements it perfectly. Mounts for mudguards and kickstands are included, and the frame is compatible with our SIC 2.1 semi-integrated luggage rack. You’ll find everything you need to thrive in the city.
«Fully equipped», means exactly what it says: a semi-integrated SIC 2.1 luggage rack for your essentials, mudguards to keep you dry, hub-dynamo-powered lights so you can see and be seen, and a kickstand for parking. At the heart of all these features lies the Editor SLX FE’s aluminium frame, with its uncompromising elegance, and the full-carbon fork: a taut, agile and inspiring combination for urban cycling. The 11-speed Shimano Alfine hub, driven by a clean and quiet Gates carbon belt, offers a wide range of gears along with quiet operation and requires little maintenance. Thanks to the 55 mm Schwalbe Motion Big Apple tyres and powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, you can slow down and stop safely, whatever the weather conditions.
