EK1 - THE LITTLE BROTHER OF EK1

After the successful market launch of the EK3 in autumn 2020, the electric two-wheeler manufacturer HORWIN is expanding its range of electric scooters even further. Since January 2021, the new little brother HORWIN EK1 has been joining it.

MOPED WITH ENVIRONMENTAL COLOURS

The two eye-catchers are largely identical in appearance and size. The main differences: While the EK3 has a central motor, the EK1 is equipped with a wheel hub motor. The maximum power output is 2.8 kW, which puts it in the L1e vehicle category. This also shows why the EK1 is considered the little brother of the EK3 (6.2 kW/L3e).

With the bright colours orange and medium blue as well as matt black and white, the moped or motorbike also appeals to a younger audience. EK1 features: all-round LED lights, automatic light-off delay, cruise control, reverse gear, under-seat helmet storage and ergonomic design.

HIGH VOLTAGE INTELLIGENT LITHIUM BATTERY

The HORWIN EK1 is equipped with a 72 V high voltage intelligent lithium battery. With a volume of 26 Ah, the maximum range is 50 km (standard range)

It is also optional with two removable batteries available. The SOC monitoring system and modern BMS battery management system can effectively reduce outages and provide multiple protection.

VISIBL DRIVING FORCE

The HORWIN EK1 is equipped with a high performance hub motor of 2800W max. Power. The motor has a high energy exchange efficiency with low energy consumption and instantly increases the super driving force.

THREE-LENS INTELLIGENT LED HEADLIGHT

The headlights are equipped with three LED lamps. Their bright, white light literally cuts through the darkness. An automatic switch-off delay function when the lights are switched off illuminates the path to the garage or the front door before you get out.

DAY FIRES

The automatic daytime running light DRL improves safety, especially on rainy and foggy days.

BACKWARD

The R button can easily help you move the vehicle with reverse power.

The LCD screen displays all kinds of driving information, the driving data is available at all times. The display colours are green, blue or yellow and depend on the speed at which you are driving. It is the perfect combination of fashion and technology.

The vacuum tyres fitted to the EK1 provide exceptional grip on the road surface. They are unbreakable, wear-resistant and have a longer life than ordinary tyres. A perfect combination of safety and comfort.

The high-strength light metal wheel hubs are made of aluminium alloy. They give the front and rear wheels exceptional stability and resilience, but are still relatively light.

COMFORTABLE DRIVING - WHATEVER THE ROAD

The EK1 scooter is equipped with two hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and rear. They provide the rider with an exceptional riding experience, regardless of the road conditions.
