The Reaction 200 TM is made from the same heat-treated 6061 aluminium as that used in our top-performing adult models. We also use the same tube-forming process to tailor the tube profiles for an optimal balance of strength and weight. Making the most of all this frame magic is a suspension fork, specifically designed to work with a small frame and a lightweight rider. The disc brake mounts and cable routing provide greater safety and enhanced braking power from the discs. Finally, its derailleur hanger helps to minimise costly repairs in the event of a minor accident.
Only specialist bikes feature the CUBE Trail Motion design. The Reaction 200 TM takes the lightweight, robust frame of our junior hardtail and adds a Suntour Raidon 34 suspension fork, specially designed for young riders, for greater control and more fun on the trails. Perfectly proportioned controls and carefully engineered geometry ensure your child is comfortable and in control at all times. We’ve fitted it with powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, just as we do on our adult mountain bikes, as well as a pair of 2.25-inch Schwalbe tyres on wheels fitted with sturdy Newmen rims. And the whole thing is rounded off with a smooth-shifting 1×8-speed drivetrain and a gear lever designed for little hands.
