High-speed e-bikes (speed pedelecs) are redefining the rules of urban mobility, but the Kathmandu Hybrid 45 goes one step further by redefining the rules of high-speed e-bikes. The Bosch CX motor, combined with an 800 Wh battery and a Kiox 500 display, gives you complete freedom of movement. The combined power of the motor, your legs and your lungs is transferred to the road via an 11-speed Shimano drivetrain, an XT rear derailleur and an oversized 48-tooth chainring. A Suntour Mobie36 air suspension fork ensures optimum comfort even on the bumpiest urban roads, whilst the powerful Magura hydraulic disc brakes, fitted with ABS just like on your car, guarantee safe and effective braking in all weather conditions. We’ve opted for comfortable, high-grip 55 mm-wide Schwalbe Marathon Efficiency tyres, as well as full mudguards and a handy kickstand. And of course, thanks to the sturdy integrated IC 3.0 luggage rack and the included lighting system, you’re ready for all your journeys, whatever the time.
